Gather Ye Children

A time of limbo, a group of students are stuck in their school gym after a tragedy has occurred. Just like many American schools, they have to navigate a school shooting and what comes after that.

During this process we wanted to honor those who have lived through these experiences, but also highlight that this could occur in any setting.

Some of our goals were to create a space that some liminality to it once light entered the space, as well as recognition, regardless of time period. Broken up walls add to the tension and disembodied experience that the audience takes part in.
